Mental Health Day

9th October, 2020

Tomorrow, 10th October, 2020, is Mental Health Day. The topic of mental health is something that people avoid. However, as teachers, we should be enabling students to talk about it. Alex and I want to try and do something very simple; talk about it. And, we want to help you to talk about it too - whether you're a student or a teacher. So, for the next week, we are going to share our lesson about mental health to get people talking about it. If you're a teacher, you can download the interactive lesson which has vocab exercises and games, a reading with exercises, video listening exercises and freer practice speaking points to get your students using what they have learned.
If you're a student and want to follow the lesson by yourself, you can do that too.

This year has proven to be particularly hard. During a time when the world is confronted by the unprecedented mental health consequences and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on billions of people, there has been a huge increase in people looking for help. And as a way to keep this conversation going and to help remove the stigma attached to mental health, we ask you to please share this post.
